The improvements to this footpath, which runs between points 5 and 6 on the map below, has now been completed. This means that walkers now have year round use of the path, which previously became very muddy for much of the year.
The improvements have been funded by grants from RWE Renewables, the company building the solar farm at Highleadon, and Gloucestershire County Council’s ‘Build Back Better’ fund, and the work was completed, during appalling weather, by Moat Contracting.
It’s a wonderful walk now, with lots of options to extend it. Enjoy!
